The Festival of the Nativity has established a reputation as one of the “must-see” Christmas programs in Southwest Orlando. And this year will boast more nativities than ever. Organizers are again extending an invitation to the entire community, regardless of religion or church membership, to participate by loaning their individual or family nativities for display during the 3-day event.
The Festival of the Nativity will feature nativity, or creche, displays from around the world, plus art displays from area artists depicting nativity scenes, and a wide selection of special live Christmas musical performances. Choirs and musicians from area churches, schools, and private groups have been invited to perform at different times throughout the Festival.
In addition to the creche displays and live musical presentations, the Festival of the Nativity will also offer children’s dress-up and craft activities plus informational opportunities. There will also be tours of the Family History Center, located in the same building. The event is all free of charge and open to the public. You are encouraged to bring your camera.
