Community Nativity Festival Invites Entries

The fourth annual Community Nativity Festival is inviting people to loan their creches, or nativities, for display on December 5, 6 and 7. The free festival will feature musical performances, readings of the Christmas story from the Bible, and hundreds of nativities.

Displays will range from simple nativity sets with figures made by children to rare and exquisite nativities and art depicting the life of Jesus Christ. Some of the nativities have been handed down from generation to generation, said Noelle Herzig of Winter Garden, the festival chair. Each nativity displayed will have information about its origin and significance.
